I’m never one to quickly jump on a trendy bandwagon. But, we recently switched from using plastic bottled water daily to using a water filtering system. Therefore, I needed a good daily cup. Again, since I don’t like to go along with trends, I was looking for a good dupe. This cup it it! I went with the 30 oz. (I just knew I wouldn’t carry around a 40 oz cup.) It fits in most vehicle cup holders. It’s gone through the dishwasher fine. Also, it came with 2 straws which is handy. Highly recommend!
I have been looking for something to carry my water that wasn't a "bottle" and this is perfect!! I have tried to find the right size but 40 and 50 oz. cups are just too big and heavy!! This 30 oz. is just the right size and fits in my car's cupholder - even with a "boot"! I was concerned about the straw being a bulky silicone one, but this is perfect and is easy to drink from. I will definitely buy one again!!!
I actually do have a Stanley. Received it as a gift. I use this and the Stanley daily. One for the gym drink, and one for iced tea or diet coke. I use them interchangebly, and performance wise of keeping the drinks cold for an extended period of time, one does not perform better than the other.The Stanley is a little wider, and I'm not a fan of the stock lid. I like the clear lid that's sold on here with the black locking sip flap and the silicone straw hole on the other side. They work well if you have a Stanley style and not a fan of that rotating piece on their lid.Speaking of lids, the Simple Modern one is fine for the most part with one annoyance. Yes, the lid itself is leak proof. Yes,if you knock anything with a straw onto its side, liquid can come out of the straw. This is not rocket science. It's just how gravity works. They do make straw caps if you're that paranoid or annoyed (take your Pic) about it.I'd say don't use the straw, but Simple Modern doesn't really give you an option with their lid, which actually isn't my annoyance. I'm annoyed the lid is so needlessly thick. It limits how much liquid you can put in it. Yes, it's not a huge difference with 40oz, but it's one reason why I do like the Stanley with the clear lid. It's kit like the lid itself is vacuum insulated so why make it so thick.And if I could make one more change to it, it would be to make detents around the top edge so you could get a better grip for taking the lid off.I like the taller and narrower design over the Stanley for most things,but mainly because if you use two cups, the spacing in the car is nicer. I haven't had issues with it tipping over. It still fits on gym equipment. In fact being narrower is nicer on some fo the precor ellipticals that only have so much ledge to them.Attached a pic of Stanley and the Simple Modern in the cup holders of the volvo xc60. You can see the Simple modern is getting pushed by the Stanley. Two SM's would be a better fit. Though it is a 2017 and a 40oz tumblers weren't a thing then. Was actually worse as the 32oz tumblers were a thing then and were wider and shorter.
This lil baby is exactly what I was looking for! I am extremely picky with my water bottles so let me explain:- I don’t like ice water, but I like cool water, and this will keep my water at the perfect temperature for HOURS- I don’t like the handle design of some other water bottles, but this one is perfect because it’s a closed handle and it’s wide enough that almost my whole hand fits through. As you can see I do not have dainty hands lol- can take a beating! I’m not exactly disrespectful of my water bottles, but an injury to my dominant hand means I drop things a lot. No chips, no dents, no cracks of any kind. She’s a sturdy gal and that’s what I need in my life- no leaks from the rim- freaking hallelujah! Since I’m constantly dropping or tipping my bottles, it is essential that it doesn’t leak all over me, my floors, or my dog who is always at my side. This one does the trick!I have this in the mauve shade as well, and while it’s just as wonderful, I noticed the color from the lid faded really quickly with minimal sun exposure. None of that so far with the black, so I’m hopeful!I convinced my sister and several others to check out this brand, as I also have their 28 oz mugs for hot/cold drinks on the go. Just a big fan of these products!
I have had the sea glass sage cup since December 2023 and I love it so much I bought the black leopard print one too! I specifically got these colors because they have the matching silicone sleeve available to buy separately and I am SO GLAD I got the sleeve. It keeps the bottom from getting banged up and keeps the cup from sliding or getting knocked over easily. I can’t speak for how long it keeps drinks cold, as I use it for water only out of our drinking water system which is whatever temperature tap water is that day.I have not put anything in the dishwasher so I also can’t speak to that. As for leakproof, I bought one of those straw toppers and when I use that I am able to put it inside my backpack securely (I have a work backpack that it fits snugly in the inside pocket). I just make sure that my backpack stays upright and be mindful of how much I’m swinging it around, but I haven’t had any leaks. One of my cats has knocked this cup off the night stand and off the couch side table and I only cleaned up a drop of water each time (with no straw topper).Overall I am very impressed with this cup and if one breaks (doubt that would happen) I would absolutely replace it with another Simple Modern. This has helped me track my water intake throughout pregnancy as well.
